Fashion Blogger Round Up: The Beauties That Inspire Us
Now that summer is right around the corner we're stoked to be able to bare our legs in our favorite pair of cutoffs. Lately, we've been looking to our favorite bloggers for some summer fashion inspiration. We're loving the way these ladies are rocking lace, kimonos, and rad denim patchwork jackets. Who's your style inspiration?

These are a few of our favorite things:
It seems like these days everyone is on a budget of some sort and it can be difficult to stay up to date with the ever-changing trends of the fashion world. There are also those days when getting dressed is such a challenge. You look in your closet and see a motley collection of the same old, same old and feel it will be impossible to look chic in these old duds. Well, we took to one of our closets and pulled out some old and some new, fairly inexpensive pieces that are great go-tos this summer. There are some essentials most can probably dig out of their closet and the other pieces you can probably find at your local H&M.
These are a few of our favorites for day:

For night, our faves get a little darker:

If you dig hard enough, you can probably find a couple sweet summer dresses, lace, a circle skirt, crop tops, and a few exciting going out numbers you haven't had the guts to wear in a while. So go on and conquer that closet and you might just find the treasures you've been looking for.

Homage to the Queens
We watched all of their videos and knew all of their songs. We pined to win contests to meet them on cruise ships. We learned everything we needed to know about being cute, sneaky, stylish and getting boys to talk to us. We grew up with them. From Full House, to their Adventure series, to such hits as Winning London, Billboard Dad, and A New York Minute, they are the queens and now full-fledged fashion icons in the front row of every runway show, with booming labels like The Row and Elizabeth & James. They are Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and today is their 27th birthday. Makes you feel old huh? Somehow it feels like just yesterday we were sitting in front of the TV obsessing over one of their films and trying to copy that feathered hair, bandana look they had down so well. Now Mary-Kate is the boho grunge girl of our dreams and Ashley has her look together like no one else. We google pictures of them when we don't know what to wear. We follow their labels religiously. They are Karl Lagerfelds sweethearts, they are America's sweethearts and they are all grown up. This is our homage to the twin queens of the fashion world: Mary-Kate and Ashley.

Free Ride: Look Stylish On Your Bike!
Biking is one of our favorite forms of transportation yet there seems to be a misconception that you must be decked out in biking gear in order to ride. Well, we challenge that misconception with this collection of images of girls riding in style!
Now throw on a Mara Hoffman bikini with your fave dress, a pair of Converse and the Stela 9 Sol Convertible Backpack, hop on your bike and ride!

Jubilee Music and Arts Festival 2013/The Well Connected Fashion Festival
This past weekend we were able to attend the Jubilee Music and Arts Festival in downtown Los Angeles, which luckily shared the venue with The Well Connected Fashion Fest/Sample Sale. It was a brilliant fusion of fashion and music with a rambunctious and eccentric crowd. Brands such as Shown To Scale, BLQMKT, American Apparel, UNIF, Rojas and many more showcased their line selling items for waaaay under their normal selling price. To say it plainly, it was awesome. We only made it to Day One but saw Soko, Bleached, Trash Talk, The Black Lips and Free Energy play great sets. Enjoy the pics and let us know if you also went! (Pardon the bad quality in some of these dark iPhone pics).
From the clothing deals, food trucks, music and cool downtown LA/Silverlake vibe this is def not a music festival to miss again. Cya next year!
