Mackenzie

 I recently took these photos at the stunning Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park for my Etsy store, Stela9, and felt the need to share. The model is my sister’s friend, Mackenzie. This is one of my favorite locations in the Los Angeles are and it has such an amazing history. The Vasquez Rocks are named after Tiburcio Vasquez. Vasquez was a notorious bandit on the West coast in the mid 1800‘s and these rocks were one of his favorite hideouts during his numerous prison breaks.

You may recognize them from some of the films and television series that they have been associated with; Star Trek, Bonanza, Roswell and  Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
